Director of Games Business Development

The Director of Games Business Development will be responsible for sales of the Games Business Line services worldwide (excluding North America), developing new and existing accounts to their full potential across mobile and predominantly digital platforms. Attend all major events and exhibitions, networking functions and seminars to promote the company and its services. Be the pivotal link between Publisher and Development, ensuring milestone service levels are achieved at the highest level for clients. Support and promote key marketing initiatives to generate business. Provide transparent reporting of sales activity and forecasted business on a monthly basis using Microsoft Dynamics to the Senior Management team. Manage contract negotiation; quotes, pricing and other key terms of business for new and existing clients.

Global Account Manager – Games

This is a newly created position within the mobile game division to help bolster the existing team, add further expertise and underpin the company’s quest to become the market leader in this area. You will be responsible for engaging with Mobile and PC Game Software Developers to demonstrate the benefits of using the company’s software and hardware systems to deliver faster and more advanced graphics than their nearest competitor. You will have a proven track record in multi- stakeholder account management where it will be your responsibility to align internal and external departments including, legal, finance, operations and technology. It is equally important to demonstrate your skills in understanding your customer needs and how the company can deliver these in a timely and profitable manner. You will have a proven track record of achievement in selling value based solutions at a senior level across multiple stakeholders within the game development community.

Our client develops and sells game software at both national and international level. Their core competences are game design, as well as programming, hosting and maintaining online and client games. Currently, their focus lies on Unreal3 and Unreal4 development for PC and Next Gen consoles.
Since their foundation, the company released more than 60 product versions which have been published in more than a dozen languages. Initially, their emphasis was on client based games, but making online games soon became a second mainstay. With more than 50 employees they are currently creating a development team for our 2nd unannounced production.

For their PC/Online production in Langen/Hesse they are currently looking for:-
A technical artist you have a great passion for games and art but also a good understanding of technical topics. You are responsible for asset integration and developing/maintaining the according tool chain. This position is technical support for the artists and also the outsourcing manager on technical questions. Together with the engineering and level design team the development of shaders and visual effects is the other main responsibility of this position. Evaluation of new tools and technologies is a very important aspect of this position. You would be involved in a highly motivated agile team in which your opinion counts.
