Lis Welsh founded Answers Recruitment in 1991 quickly establishing herself as the No.1 recruitment consultancy, employing a team of dedicated consultants covering sales, marketing, accountancy, operations and development within the computer and video games industry, having spent the previous 7 years as Operations Director for the industry's leading independant distributor based in the Midlands, UK.
In 1998 Lis Welsh joined forces with Anne-Marie Joassim to set up and establish Answers Recruitment in Paris, successfully filling positions with leading entertainment companies such as Warner, Disney and Electronic Arts. During this period of growth for the industry, both consultants worked actively with their clients advising them on setting up businesses in Europe and helping them shape the structure of their business for the future and employing key staff to build their management teams.
Lis' particular skill encompasses working with new business to help structure their workforce and to ensure the right people are employed for the business at the right stage, with the foresight to be able to develop these individuals over the years ahead and focusing on individuals who can manage change, and grow with the business to achieve set objectives. As a trained life coach Lis uses these skills to gain maximum knowledge and aspirational ideals to ensure the client and the applicant are best placed when making the important decision of a career move. It is crucial this process is managed correctly as considerable time and money is invested in employing new team members.
In 2001, when the games industry had matured considerably and consolidated, Lis evolved her business further to suit the changing market, re-launching as 'Lis Welsh Search & Selection' specialising within 'New Media' and operating at an executive level only. Lis has spent several years working with household names, evaluating their businesses, advising on recruitment issues and searching and selecting key personnel from middle management to executive level.
Some of the clients Lis has worked with include; Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Ltd, Sega Europe Ltd, Activision Europe Ltd, and Microsoft, to name but a few.
Specialist areas covered are; sales, marketing, operations, finance, and development.
Placement levels include: Managing Director, General Manager, Sales Director, Marketing Director, Finance Director to Brand, Product, and Trade Marketing Managers to Sales and National Account Managers, Development Directors, Project Managers, Lead Programmers, and Engineers and Artists.
Lis actively works for local businesses, troubleshooting and carrying out interim management projects whilst assisting in the recruitment of personnel to reshape the team and set new direction.
Outside the workplace Lis is an avid horsewoman and semi professional photographer www.liswelshphotography.com She has two children, one at Manchester University and the other studying GSCE's locally. Lis raises funds for her own charity in Kenya and personally sponsors several young children there, has recently completed her first half marathon (from zero running ability to 13.2 miles in 5 months) and is an active fund raiser for her local church.

An enthusiastic, resourceful and versatile graduate from Hatfield College and Durham University, who shows a real understanding and sensitivity towards others. Professionally committed and responsible, Holly is someone who thrives under pressure and relishes new challenges.
A natural leader and motivator, Holly is able to inspire others, getting everyone to commit to goals – and accomplish them. A keen sportswoman, she represented her university and school at Hockey and Netball and was a resident instructor for the Pytchley Pony Club.
Holly travelled extensively throughout Thailand and Vietnam during her gap year and spent some time working with elephants in the local nature park. Having returned from her travels, Holly spent some months working in a sales and promotion capacity for a local creative agency.
An easy going individual who loves people and enjoys the challenge of business development. Inspired by the desire to offer excellence in customer service, Holly is a unique, friendly, open, and honest young woman embarking on her career within executive recruitment.

Anne Marie Joassim and Lis Welsh, founded Answers Recruitment in 1998, a French recruitment agency located in Paris with partners in the UK and the Netherlands dedicated to the IT sector, entertainment gaming Industry, retail Industry, and electronic device manufacturers and distributors.
Anne Marie conducts retained searches for manager to executive level positions for mid sized companies to multi-national groups (Nokia, Warner, Disney, etc) seeking to hire exceptional people.
Functional areas include; sales, marketing, computer software engineering, and project management.
Anne Marie's vision for Answers Recruitment is a relentless commitment to delivering the best recruiting experience with high ideals and ethics. The key to Answers' success has been anne Marie's commitment to establishing a dynamic, aggressive search process. Prior to Answers Recruitment Anne Marie held an 'International Legal Affairs' position in the French entertainment Industry, where she gained invaluable international experience of negotiations with companies throughout Europe, Asia and America as well as gaining a clear understanding of other cultures and business practises.
Outside of her business, Anne Marie regularly speaks at the International Multimedia University of Paris www.imm.fr and is actively involved in the setting up of a European Symposium on Accessibility to be held in Grenoble in January 2010.
